Dave Branon

You can usually tell right away if an article is written by J. David Branon—if the theme is sports. In addition to writing for ODB, Dave is the Managing Editor of Sports Spectrum magazine, and has done freelance writing for many years—having more than 13 books published. Dave taught English and coached basketball and baseball at the high school level before coming to RBC. His favorite fictional character is George Bailey in It's a Wonderful Life because "he gave and gave and gave—deferring his personal interests and asking nothing in return."
