一對夫妻把年邁的嬸嬸接來同住。他們擔心她會住得不自在。於是，他們把家中一個房間，裝潢得與嬸嬸家裡的臥室一模一樣。嬸嬸到達之後，覺得那房間裡的傢俱、掛飾，以及其他心愛的物品，都如此熟悉，像是在對她說：「歡迎回家！」

在約翰福音13章36節-14章4節，耶穌在最後的晚餐中對門徒說話，預備他們面對祂的死亡。西門彼得問：「禰要往哪裡去？」耶穌回答：「我所去的地方，你現在不能跟我去，後來卻要跟我去」（13章36節）。耶穌繼續對彼得（也對其他的跟隨者）說：「在我父的家裡有許多住處；若是沒有，我就早已告訴你們了；我去原是為你們預備地方去。我若去為你們預備了地方，就必再來接你們到我那裡去；我在哪裡，叫你們也在那裡。」（14章2-3節）

天堂是萬國萬民基督徒將來要團聚的家，它也是我們天父的家。祂在那裡，為你、為我預備好了一個房間。

當你到達天國，耶穌為你開了天國的門，那時候你會知道，你回家了。DCM
