The college basketball season will conclude Monday in San Antonio. It’s been an exciting year for many schools, a rebuilding year for others, and a disappointing season for others. In one of the country’s great traditional programs it’s been a heartbreaking year.
The Indiana Hoosiers love their basketball and fill venerable Assembly Hall in Bloomington with incredible passion. The Hoosiers had great talent and an exciting team. They seemed poised for a run in the NCAA tournament.
But late in the season their head coach, Kelvin Sampson, was fired for five major NCAA violations. The team never recovered and lost to Arkansas in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we talk about the season with Indiana senior guard Adam Ahlfeld. Adam shares his thoughts on the past year in Bloomington. Much earlier in the season the team also lost team chaplain, Galen Dolby, who died of cancer. Galen was Adam's spiritual mentor.
It’s a conversation about real-life issues on this edition of Sports Spectrum Today. Don't miss our visit with college player, Adam Ahlfeld, from Indiana University
