This is the second biggest weekend of the year in the
National Football League. Other than the Super Bowl, nothing is bigger. It’s the NFL draft weekend and the building of Super Bowl teams starts in New York City at 3:00 p.m. Saturday.

Today on Sports Spectrum we take you inside the NFL draft from a number of angles. We visit with a tight end from the University of Kentucky, Jacob Tamme.  Jacob is considered a classic "tweener" on this year's draft board. He may be drafted in round three on the first day. He may not be drafted until day two. He may not be drafted at all. Is he anxious?  Not really. We hear how his faith has given him a peace about handling the pressures of waiting on the draft.

We also talk with another athlete who experienced that same situation two years ago. He’s Ryan Plackemeier, the punter for the Seattle Seahawks who was a 7th round pick two years ago. He’s been the starting punter in Seattle each of the last two seasons.

We also take you inside the front office of two teams on draft day. We visit with a Vice President for the Arizona Cardinals, Ron Minegar. Many observers feel the Cardinals are close to making the playoffs. And, we also visit with the General Manager of the Cleveland Browns, Phil Savage. The Browns were the most improved team in the league last fall.

Sports, real-life issues and faith--don't miss our NFL draft special on Sports Spectrum.
