It is a Mother’s Day Special on Sports Spectrum. First we talk about the NFL and visit with one of the outstanding kickers in the league, Matt Stover of the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens are a team in transition with a new head coach for next season.

We also take a look at college basketball and one of the biggest turnarounds in NCAA hoops history.  Last year Cleveland State lost 20 games, this year they won 20 games. We’ll hear head coach Gary Waters share his thoughts on the team's turnaround.

We honor the sports mom on Sports Spectrum Saturday. We hear from Debbie Christensen, the wife of long time football coach Clyde Christensen. Clyde is the wide receivers coach with the Indianapolis Colts.  We hear what it’s like to be a coaches wife, and the mother of three daughters, with a husband who’s constantly on the move.

We also hear from an NBA mom. We hear from Pam Kaman, the mother of Los Angeles Clippers center Chris Kaman.  And, we talk with broadcaster and former coach Terry Bowden—he’s got a lot to say about his mom.
