Yesterday was Mother's Day. Around the country, it was a day of tribute to moms everywhere.  We would like to salute sports moms: including but not limited to, soccer moms, Little League moms and wives of coaches.

On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we talk with Pam Kaman. Pam is the mother of NBA player, Chris Kaman of the Los Angeles Clippers. She tells us about her family and her involvement in Chris’ early school years.

Chris played at a small Christian high school in western Michigan. He was a bit of a late bloomer and didn’t go to a large basketball factory college. He played collegiate at Central Michigan University. We hear Pam talk about some of the decisions and sacrifices the family made to help Chris and his sisters keep Christ first in their educational experience.
