Bob Breunig – National Football League – Cowboys

SPORTS SPECTRUM TODAY

Professional Football

Guest: Bob Breunig
Former Pro Bowl Linebacker
Dallas Cowboys

Interviewed by: Frank Giardina

The National Football League continued a Thanksgiving Day tradition playing in Dallas, home of the Cowboys. On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we talk about some Thanksgiving Day football memories with a former Cowboy, Bob Breunig.

Bob played for the Cowboys from 1975-84. He played in three Super Bowls while in Dallas with the Cowboys winning Super Bowl XI in 1977. Bob was also a three time Pro Bowler.

Bob talks about playing for former Cowboys coach Tom Landry and playing behind Cowboys great Lee Roy Jordan early in his career. Jordan is not in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Bob comments on why he should be.

What is it like for NFL players to play on Thanksgiving Day?  Bob shares his thoughts and talks about how his life was impacted by the faith of fellow team members.

It is a good way to start off the week. Enjoy a Monday NFL visit with former Dallas Cowboy Pro Bowler, Bob Breunig, on Sports Spectrum Today.
