While many teams are headed for bowl games, others have packed up their equipment for the winter.

On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we talk with the head coach at Kent State University, Doug Martin. His team finished with a 4-8 record—several losses were close games. But after a slow start, they rebounded to win three of their last five games, including a road win at Buffalo.      The Buffalo Bulls went on to win the Mid-American Conference championship.

It’s not easy to win at Kent State. The school has had just three winning seasons in 30 years. But Doug and his staff have persevered and coach the team with biblical principles.
