This week’s playing of baseball’s World Series is a special time for baseball fans. And for many fans it is a time to reflect on past Series memories.

On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we take a look back at the 1985 World Series won by the Kansas City Royals. Our guest was the team’s advance scout at the time, Jerry Terrell.

Earlier in his career Jerry was an infielder for the Minnesota Twins and Royals.

He also shares memories of former Royals manager, Dick Howser. Howser used biblical principles to manage his teams. He passed away after losing a battle with cancer not long after winning the World Series.
